ISI-Snapshot’s proprietary reporting tool, SnapReports, enables extensive viewing, reporting, and charting capabilities including customized options and many built-in system templates and reports. SnapReports can detect and report changes between two or more infrastructure objects, such as host computers, SAN switches, and storage arrays. SnapReports can also report changes between the same infrastructure objects at two or more points in time (Runs). 

SnapReports provides data analytics and reporting. SnapReports retrieves data collected during discovery and inventory providing customizable views, tables, visualizations, filtering, and data exports without requiring custom development.

You can use the SnapReports utility to generate numerical and graphical reports from the data acquired after an ISI-Snapshot Scan or Run. The SnapReports screen contains a drill-down tree for data selection, a grid that displays the data, a chart builder, export capabilities, and historical information.

The ISI-Snapshot installation includes SnapReports or it can be purchased without purchasing ISI-Snapshot.

You decide when to establish a baseline declarative Run to compare against and you can store an unlimited number of Run results of the Scans. A Run can store an unlimited number of Scans.

Run Compare (Change and Comparison Reporting)

Run Compare Utility (Change and Comparison Reporting) provides a comparative view of the data collection Runs gathered by ISI-Snapshot. In the Run Compare utility, you can select a particular database to compare the differences in the data elements collected between two or more Hosts, SAN switches, or storage arrays. You can also detect and report changes between the same infrastructure objects at two or more points in time (Runs). All of the data elements available in SnapReports can be viewed in the Run Compare utility with the added feature of simultaneously viewing the data elements from two or more Runs or Hosts side by side. 

The Run Compare utility allows you to: 

• Display all or user selected data elements in the Runs or Hosts.

• Display all or user selected elements in the Runs or Hosts highlighting the differences in the Runs or Hosts.

• Create and store multiple builds of comparison data in the database.

• Display only the data element differences in the Runs or Hosts.
